A quick note about keeping your CottonKitten delicates in great condition for longer!
Viscose loses its strength when wet so be extra careful when washing. You can machine wash viscose on cold delicate cycle in a mesh laundry bag or hand wash in cold water. Lay flat and allow to air dry or dry clean. Never bleach and iron at low heat.
If HANDWASHING do not wring, twist or rub fabric together repeatedly as this can stretch the fabric.
Be sure to gently pull and shape the garment back to its original shape and size as it begins to dry. Do not leave it in a crumpled mess! Set-in wrinkles can be difficult to remove from viscose later.
Cotton is a durable fabric that can generally tolerate the agitation of being machine washed and dried with no ill effects. Any items with special decorations like sequins or screen printing will require special care though.
For best results, machine wash cotton items in cold or warm water.
Do not use hot water as it may shrink the cotton.Use a normal wash cycle and regular detergent.
Air dry to avoid shrinkage.
Polyester fabrics are strong, resilient, wrinkle-resistant, colorfast, crisp, and hold pleats and creases well.
